Outdoor spaces planned for real Spanish weather
Ladera Verde Studio designs gardens, courtyards, pool edges and country-house landscapes that look refined without becoming expensive to maintain.
Design notes we check on-site
Sun exposure by hour, soil texture, slope, water points, privacy angles, local wind and maintenance capacity.
Climate-aware planting
We prioritise Mediterranean species, drought-tolerant shrubs, shade trees and low-water ground covers suitable for Madrid, Valencia, Alicante, Málaga and inland plots.
Irrigation before styling
Every plan considers pressure, zones, drip lines, seasonal watering and access for maintenance before the visual layer is finalised.
Clear deliverables
Clients receive measured layouts, planting schedules, material notes, lighting suggestions and a contractor briefing sheet.
Not just a pretty rendering
Many gardens fail because nobody checks irrigation, soil, afternoon heat or the way people actually use the terrace. We build plans around daily routines: breakfast shade, children’s routes to the pool, evening lighting, dog-safe planting and storage for garden tools.
Typical residential projects range from 80 m² patios to 2,500 m² rural plots. For larger fincas, we divide the land into manageable zones so owners can implement the design in phases.
Typical first recommendations
- Replace thirsty lawn with gravel, thyme or mixed low-water planting.
- Add shade before adding furniture.
- Use local stone where delivery cost is sensible.
- Place lighting for steps and paths before decorative uplights.
